As part of this weeks theme from the Basketry Association I made a little video of my hands working a simple trac border on a rush basket.
I harvested the rush on the River Gipping this summer and am making some rush baskets to include at the craft fair at Star Wing Brewery on the 3rd and 4th December. So these baskets are Suffolk made from start to finish. 😊

My most recent make is a log basket, super sturdy with an English foot.
